Plainjane 2-door HD pickups with no extended cab are fairly common in coastal Maine because they are the trucks lobstermen need to stack and haul traps in spring and fall. Out post on lobstertrucks at Naskeag did note a few extended cabs, however. Then there was Brian Robbins' piece in The Rising Tide on his father's lobster truck.
