Kaiser Jeep M715. Portland, Maine

I thought this might have been the same unit as the Kaiser Jeep M715 we posted from Freeport Maine a couple years back---but not. Thanks to Scott Dorrance for the photographs. After they got out of the army a lot of these were painted red as fire dept. trucks.

Cambridge Land Rover

Calling them Defenders sounds a little...defensive. If you try our search widget, you'll find a bunch of Land Rovers posted here on AL, many of them in the Netherlands, where LRs are everything from workaday utility company trucks to high-end flashmobiles. This was a January day in Cambridge when the 14" blizzard of the previous weekhad been evaporated by a couple days of rain and temps in the low 60s.

Bill Burleson shot these when they were in Santa Fe. You want to go low, go Española. Is this a '49 Chevy?

Low Rider Chevy, Santa Fe

All photos ©JWBurkeson 201
from JW Burleson in Santa Fe: "I stumbled across a bunch of cars in front of a high-end, low rider bar downtown. I had looked at some awful photos of Montecito a bit earlier, so when all this exuberant local color and form appeared, my mood was much improved. Hope you enjoy the attached images as much as I enjoyed making them."--JWB

La Cucaracha. Alpine, Texas

I though it might be an English Ford Escort---but, no, and the shape of the of suggests room for more of an engine...I really haven't a clue what this was. Any ideas?
