1976 Lincoln Mark IV Las Vegas

From Michael Moore, in Las Vegas. The car hasn't run out of its luck but I wonder if the driver took off in an electric scooters from that stand in photo 4. Compare to the 1976 Lincoln Mark IV Givenchy we posted last month from NJ.

Purposeful 1985 Ford F-350 work truck

From Reid Cunningham: Given the recent square body Chevrolet work truck with a small dump body, I thought you might appreciate the Ford equivalent square body dump truck. My guess is an F-350, and it's got a manual.   In Amherst NH.

When Buick Had Wings (1960 Buick Invicta Wagon)

...and the 1960 model year cars all across GM were considerably toned-down from the 1959s, when flightiness had reached its peak. This car is on the block right now at Hemmings. Tthe most extreme of the outrageous was perhaps the 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air hardtop. Then there was that un-shy 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood. And you already know about Autoliterate's 1959 Pontiac thing.  More crazy '59...

1970 Dodge Dart Swinger

From Reid Cunningham: In the parking lot of a body repair shop in Manchester NH.  A work in progress, the car has no interior, and the front end sits so high that I suspect there is no engine.  The hood may be from an earlier Dart, but it looks racy on this one.  Maybe it will make it back to the road before the snow flies again here in New Hampshire

1968 Chevrolet Nova plainjane

Almost all the Novas of this era you see for sale are wearing the SS package, whether or not they came out of the factory so equipped. Caught this plainjane in Cambridge a while back. Some cars, without ever being cherished as 'classics', still hang in there for 55 years and become wonderful survivors. It usually turns out that they belonged to someone's grandmother for a good long time.

1938 Ford V8 Coupe

Done as a postwar mild custom. Caught at the NAPA store in Blue Hill, Maine. Compare to the 1940 Ford coupe we posted in June.
