1963 Ford Thunderbird. Neville, Saskatchewan

 

From Alex Emond: 'This Bird o' Thunder was sitting in a drive in Neville, Saskatchewan. Looks stock, original, and in pretty good shape. Maybe the rear wheel "skirts" are in the trunk. A couple of days in a good shop and she'd be ready to roll." We posted a 1963 Thunderbird and a 1965 Thunderbird from Aruncel, Maine. Here's '63 from the Bay Area.

From Jonathan Welsh: "Here's a rare one that turned up in Hanover, N.H. last weekend. Sparked a wave of nostalgia because I owned the two-door (or Tudor) version of the same model year from the late 1980s to the mid 2000s. Turned heads and had lots of innovative features for the time, including disc brakes that worked well. "

1966 Thunderbird, New Hampshire

 

from Reid Cunningham : This was at a repair place in Exeter; there was a box with a new part on the seat. I found it interesting that it had a regular NH plate and not an antique vehicle registration. So, likely a real summer driver. It's good to see interesting cars being enjoyed as intended instead of being show pieces and trailer queens.

Basha Burwell caught the 1957 T'Bird in St Louis. Nice little machine though I wish turquoise was not such a popular color for '50s restorations. This car is missing it wheel skirts, which would cover approximately half the wheelwell. We posted a 1956 Thunderbird from San Mateo.

One Owner 1960 Ford Fairlane 500

 

From Markus Anstadt, in Denver: "I spoke to the gentleman about his car. He bought it new in 1960 and although not a daily driver, he gets it out 'in good weather'. The original window sticker from Ford is interesting. It has the upgraded Thunderbird V8, AC, Push button radio. Looks like gun sights on the front fenders! It has almost 220,000 miles.

A few Fords from the passel of cars Reid Cunningham came upon in Mill Spring, NC. Nice to see there are still stashes of great old cars out there.
