How about those Wide-Track Pontiacs? Chrysler got into the act:  here's a 1959 Dodge Regent. Here's another '59 Chevy ragtop. And a '59 cat's eye Camino. The Canadian Pontiacs didn't get wide-tracked in 1959 because they were Pontiac bodies on Chevrolet frames.
