Reid Cunningham: "Manchester NH. This looks like an original-era conversion (I don't think GMC sold a 4WD at the time, but I suspect this was converted when new). The unmodified interior and single exhaust t-correct for a straight-6 reinforce that idea. And the frame looks original. I would be inclined to find wheels closer to original, but that's just me. A nice trucky truck."
AL: check this reconfigured 1953 Chevy 3100 Thriftmaster by Icon. And here's the Chevrolet 3100 we saw in Arundel, Maine last fall: as truck as truck gets.
