I own a 1/2 ton '42 Ford, in almost the exact same color since high school. (Originally a light military green, then two different reds, then the dark green which was clearly applied with a brush). The condition of mine isn't much better, it's awaiting time and money for restoration. It would be cheaper and easier to start with one in better condition, but then it wouldn't be the actual truck I drove in high school.
