Back in the day nothing said " Professor" like a Volvo wagon. They were rigorous, they were logical, they made sense. Volvos are a different tribe theses days, much fancier, and you don't see many of this era around Cambridge. But the ones you do see look like they've been cared-for in only an after-thoughtish, absentminded way, sort of the way graduate students are used and abused. They were tough, hardy cars. I'm guessing but I would say this one is maybe an '83?
Trucks, cars, highways, landscape, good writing. "You cannot travel on the path, before you have become the Path itself."

- We own a 1975 GMC Sierra Grande 15 in Maine and a 1986 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe 10 in West Texas. Also a pair of 1997 Volvo 850 wagons. Average age in the fleet is 28 years--we're recycling.
