Chevrolet Wheelbarrow

Amy Sauber's new truck "...is a 2008 white Chevy Silverado 1500. Crank windows, two-seater, the whole 9. I love her and have never felt more comfortable in a vehicle in my life. As Jenny Lewis sings, "I'm a Chevrolet Angel."
Bought in Derry, NH down the road from Robert Frost's farmhouse (The Robert Frost Farm). Poet truck, I guess you could say, hence the "poetry is not dead" David slapped on her."
Amy's short story "Tart" is out in Joyland. The truck certainly belongs in our favorite truck genre, the wheelbarrow truck.

1956 Ford Fairlane convertible

At the 4th of July Parade, Brooklin, Maine. Into the 1960s & 70s, Fairlanes became the medium-price Ford, displaced by countless Galaxies. Here's a '68 Fairlane. And another '56--this one a coupe--in California. And--over several tops--the 1958 Fairlane Skyliner.
