I am an editor and writing coach. I help writers in all genres start, revise, and finish projects. After learning to analyze ‘story’ in 15 years of writing and rewriting feature screenplays in Los Angeles, I used that experience to write three critically-acclaimed novels, two short-story collections and a sequence of acclaimed essays. I’m also a prose stylist and a line-editor who believes in the horsepower of the perfect sentence, and that before any work—memoir, podcast, screenplay— can tell a story, it has to find its voice.
