Wildsam's Field Guide to Big Bend

My Gone to Texas essay about these characters (below) is in Wildsam's Big Bendjust out.
The Wildsam Field Guides are lucid, pocket-size books that honor the intricacies of place.
Be sure to read Sterry Butcher's wonderful essay on Marfa, "What You See Is What There Is".
And Wildsam's Maine Coast Field Guide also packs in a lot of what Hemingway called the true gen; some of it from Basha Burwell.
