1971 Toyota Hilux vs. 2020 F-150

"One is a practical, utilitarian, right-sized truck America knows and loves, and the other is a Ford F-150..." See Ralph Orlove's piece in Jalopnik, comparing the early-70s Toyota Hilux to the current F-150. "...how delightful it is to see an old pickup like this Hilux on the street, still moving and grooving, getting the job done as efficiently as possible."
And the F-150 shown here is about the most modest version of the F-series trucks available-- looks tiny next to a bulked up F-250. See our post on supersized trucks.
