1953 Studebaker Starlight
from Maynard Bray: Here's my 1953 Studebaker Starlight delivering our Northeast Harbor A-boat to her new owner. That same car towed that same boat from Mount Desert Island to Noank the year before. Great car and great boat! Wish I still had them both.
One of Raymond Loewy's finest designs. My Dad had a 1953 Commander. Heaters were optional equipment. Knowing Maynard and Anne I suspect they might have done without one in New England. But me, I froze in that thing in N. Alabama winters.
