Oh Saskatchewan...

This from Alex Emond, received before the tragedy last Friday at Humboldt, Sask. "Here is a handsome little church , with a small residence for the "preacher" and family .Simmie is south east of Swift Current and is down to a very few occupied houses . It only ever had a few hundred souls in it at its peak . It is just south of Duncairn Lake and a 10 minute drive from Lac Pelletier which is a spring-fed lake .
A local man was using the church as a shop where he made wicker , rustic furniture but he doesn't own it . Apparently another guy owns it but hasn't paid the taxes in years so maybe the county owns it. I'd say the swallows and mourning doves own it . Cheers , Alex ps ... the neighbour keeps adding old trucks to his boneyard. Mostly old Fords"
