1962 Plymouth Savoy

Eric Haze, 60, an artist and graphic designer working in New York since the 1970s, on his 1962 Plymouth Savoy, as told to A.J. Baime in the WSJ
"Cars are like love. You do not get to choose when it is going to happen. The car finds you, wherever it is, in whatever condition it is in. My 1962 Savoy first popped up in an online ad in 2016. I was living in Brooklyn, and the car was being sold by a guy whose family owned the oldest auto parts dealership in Fresno, Calif. I knew what I was looking at from the photos.
"For many reasons, it was a gem. It was completely original, rust-free, original paint and interior. The downside: It was in pieces. The fenders were off, the hood was off, the drivetrain wasn’t completed and the seats were out...."

Sleepy wagon: 1965 Dodge Coronet

From Lodown Magazine, Eric Haze's  "1965 Dodge Coronet station wagon, which I just took delivery of two weeks ago. This baby is a super clean original California survivor but it also has a sick 520 big block stroker motor in it, so it is the ultimate 'sleeper'." See A.J. Baime's piece on Haze in the WSJ.

4x4 GMC Van

From Reid Cunningham: "Claremont, New Hampshire. Hard to know what to call this. Even though 4 wheel drive, maybe not a winter vehicle? :)"

1959 DeSoto Firesweep Wagon

There was an earlier Firedome that we caught in Maine a while back. The 'Sweep is on the block this week at Hemmings.
from the listing:
In terms of pure scarcity, station wagons have it all over any number of Full Classics, muscle cars and European exotics. Here’s why: Wagons weren’t loved. Kids carelessly kicked and scuffed the bulkheads in the cargo area, which was already thoroughly scraped and soiled. Battered into oblivion, they were unceremoniously junked. That’s why when a wagon as rare as this nine-passenger 1959 De Soto Firesweep comes along, especially in admirably presentable condition like this one, it’s immediately noteworthy. Its own demise just two years distant, De Soto produced a total of 1,179 Firesweep Explorer nine-passenger station wagons in 1959, and according to the seller, only a dozen remain roadworthy today. It’s said to have a solid body, only minor surface corrosion, new chrome, and a fully restored interior. Used regularly to tow vintage trailers, the Explorer has been recently upgraded to four-wheel disc brakes, and does indeed have a functional trailer hitch.

1976 Chevy LUV

From Reid Cunningham: "Considering the price and the inspection sticker, I wish I was in the position to get an old fashioned mini-pickup. These were made by Isuzu for GM. "
