Stephen Hendrickson caught these at a car show in PA. We posted on the same Ford Skyliner a few years ago. 1958 styling was a mis-step between '57 and '59, if you ask me. Here's a 1956 Ford Fairlane convertible. And have a look at Troy Trepannier's take on a 1956 Buick. A 1956 Buick Special was the first family car that I can remember. Loved it.
Trucks, cars, highways, landscape, good writing. "You cannot travel on the path, before you have become the Path itself."

1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Blue Hill, Maine
They were holding on that woodgrain vinyl into the 1990s. GM did the same for some of the whale wagons of the era. like this Buick Roadmaster. Here's another Grand Wagoneer in Maine which we may have mislabeled as an Eighties unit, but these didn't change much for several years. Bunch of Wagoneer links on this post.
