Lincoln Presidential. New Hampshire

 

From Reid Cunningham: "For when you really want to feel important, the Presidential!  AL is a fan of the Town Car and sister Crown Vic; now we get to luxuriate just like the President (Given the amount of gold trim, it would appeal to the current resident of the White House).

AL recalls those sleek & understated Lincoln Continentals of the early-mid Sixties.

1970 Chevrolet Nova SS

 

From Markus Anstadt: "A nicely done Chevy Nova SS, photographed in a tight space." Here's a 1964 Nova from Banff.  A 1972 Nova SS we caught in Maine. And a 1969 Nova in Freeport, Maine. There are still a lot of these cars on the road! When was the last time you saw a Datsun 510? The first big Japanese import. Great little car...but they don't seem to be many survivors.

From Reid Cunningham: "Winter has driven most older cars from northern New England, but a trip south for an early family Christmas and a chance to meet my new grandson (first grandchild!) turned up this BMW 2002 in Springfield, Virginia.   Obviously a rolling project car, it was great to see someone has been giving it some love." Craig Manning photos. 1964 was the best year of the C de V.  Here's Stephen Salmieri's photo of a 1962 Coupe de Ville. A 1970 Coupe de Ville convertible hiding in an underground garage in Cambridge. By 1990 the Coupe had definitely lost its style.
