c.1961 Chevrolet Apache. Aripeka Key, Florida.

From Greg Phillips: "Aripeka and Aripeka Key are around "The Big Bend" on the Gulf of Mexico side of Florida."   Here's a 1961 Apache C30 we caught in Santa Barbara a while back. And a 1961 Apache C10 in Colorado Springs.

1963 Pontiac Tempest Super Duty

For some reason the engineers at Pontiac stuffed their race-spec Super Duty 421 engine into about a Doen tiny Tempests. Found the story at autoevolution.  We caught a 1962 Tempest in LA last year.

c. 1965 Ford F-100. York, Maine.

AL loves trucks of the 1950s and 1960s and wishes that so many were not painted turquoise. But here's a 1964 F100 we saw in Santa Barbara.

From Markus Anstadt: A working Dodge Power Ram, from the streets of Denver.  Must be a collector. I have posted other Rams from the same location.

AL: Markus posted this 1980 Dodge Power Wagon from Denver. And we posted a 1989 Dodge Power Ram 250 from Marfa, Texas.

Two Chevrolets, c.1970 & c.1952. Colorado Springs.

Henry Behrens caught these units in Colorado Springs. AL appreciates the high, dry air of southern Colorado, after a murky, messy, salt-strewn day on the Maine Turnpike.

Isuzu Trooper. Blue Hill, Maine.

This looks to be a first-get Trooper, so 1984-86. Used to see many of these in California. They are rare these days, in Maine, anyway. This one looks very, very fresh–so, a restoration, or it's been in hiding for 40 years. See our post on the Mitsubishi Montero.
