from GeoFF Park: "Roma Norte, Mexico City This car does NOT run
It's a Chevy body (which may have been shortened?) The door handle is there but there's no actual door.Somebody put a lot of love and work into this and it's not even advertising anything...
Note the key to wind it up"
Trucks, cars, highways, landscape, good writing. "You cannot travel on the path, before you have become the Path itself."

1958 Chevrolet 3200 , Oregon
These from Guido Goluke, the Dutch translator and novelist. The truck's in Oregon. Almost every Chevy of this Task Force era seems to painted that shade of turquoise/blue.
Here's another one in California.

1957 Ford Ranchero
from Alex Emond: "Not the 'ouevos' kind but the Ford variety. This colour scheme was one of your choices, back in 1957. Half car, half truck ... looks great and was probably a serious "chick magnet" Hasn't lost its appeal 60 odd years later. I saw this vehicle in Redcliff, Alberta."

1972 Chevrolet C20
Clean truck. This was maybe the most basic of all Chevy truck formats and had a fairly short run, from 1967-72, when the squarebodies came in. This frame-off Chevy is on the block today at B-A-T.

unsafe at any speed
from Alex Morgan: "My favorite part is the wiring for everything outside goes out the rear window. Generator safely chained from leaf spring to where it’s located atop on a wood pallet. Water at a high location for gravity feed."

1953 Plymouth Cranbook
from Alex Emond: "This blue Plymouth cruises around Mossbank, Saskatchewan. A conservatively designed vehicle with a rather stodgy name... appealing to a sensible family man of the early '50's . All these decades later, it has stood up well and still looks good, handsome, not flashy. As far as I can tell this is completely original except for tires and the air inside those tires."

1974 BMW 2002
Most of the Beems you see driving around Cambridge these days are same old/same old SUVs, but the 2002s were tight and nimble. This car looked to be in great shape, except for that anomalous rust burn on the rear deck. Perhaps a storage issue, or a fire?

Ford F350
As a rule don't like mega-trucks but I guess the City of Cambridge has its reasons and what we do like about this F350 is its no-nonsense, no-frills demeanor.
