Ford convertibles a year or two earlier were called Sunliners, I seem to recall. A couple years ago we found the coupe edition of this car out on the Llano Estacado in northeast New Mexico.

1965 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible & Maine's October light
Black/red is my favorite combination and was on a lot of the Fords of the era. Something about that October light slanting through the trees...it's a provocative kind of light. Poignant. Maybe melancholic. Whatevuh. The afternoon is sweet but, hey, winter's coming.
