1963 Chevy II, Banff

from Alex Emond in Banff: This Chevy, bottom of the line Nova, is about as 'plain jane ' as a car can be. I have noticed this unassuming vehicle driving around Banff lately . This drab and homely automobile could be transformed into a real lean, mean street machine for not a huge amount of money. Ugly as it is , I like it.--AE
Ed. Note: I think in this era the car was a Chevy II: the original "Nova" was the top-of-the-line Chevy II, and I'm not sure this one made the grade. But I think it's a great-looking car. Looks very straight and clean: you know it was probably some hipster's grandmother's car. Here's one I saw in LA a few years back.
