1963 Chevrolet Impala 409

This was being tuned by Jason B. at a certain car shop in Blue Hill. I guess my favorite 409s are the sleepers--you know, stripped-down Biscaynes with dog-dish hubcaps and a bench seat. Cars that look like the car my elementary school principal drove.
Caught one of those, a 1964 Biscayne 409, in Colorado Springs last March. But this here Impala SS has the engine and by the time Jason was done with her I'm sure she had the get-up-and-go. A Texas car with a gritty backyard paint job. Looks like it was done on a windy West Texas day.
