Vauxhall Victor, Saskatchewan

From Alex Emond: 'This little English relic was in a vacant lot in Lafleche , Sk. . It is a left-hand drive, however. The design seems to mimic a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air  but it is a much smaller car . Not much power under the hood I am guessing. Wouldn't take much to restore... and if you put a newer 4-cylinder engine in it you'd have an affordable little runabout.'
AL remembers a bunch of these in Canada; however the dependable Datsun 510 spelled the end of the North American market for British 'economy' cars. We posted a 1959 Vauxhall Victor Super a few weeks ago.
