Citroën Traction-avant

 

These were made from 1934 to 1957. Maybe not during WWII. The classic French New Wave gangsta car. "Traction-avant"--traction forward, i.e. front-wheel drive. Keeping a low profile, too. In the Netherlands we lived down the road from a garage that specialized in these cars. This car was at Motorland in Arundel, Maine. We saw a 1954 traction-avant there a while ago.
