From Jonathan Welsh: First-generation Range Rovers hold a place in the hearts of off-roaders in part because they defined the luxury SUV category, with help from the Jeep Wagoneer. Launched in 1970, the original Range Rover barely changed in appearance during its production run into the mid 1990s. This one looks like a '92 or '93 model, based on the wheels and bumpers. It also has a snorkel and other back-country enhancements. We spotted it in Upper Montclair, N.J.
