Frenchboro, Swans Island and Burnt Coat Harbor

Out to Frenchboro today, on Long Island in Jericho Bay, below Swans Island, to collect wrack wood for my friend Bill Mayher's sculptures. We anchor on the leeward of East Beach which is a narrow spit at the eastern end of the island---the wood and debris piles up on the windward side of the spit. Pretty much open ocean out beyond that. The viewabove is looking back from Casco Passage to Mount Desert Island. Below is coming into Lunt's Harbor at Frenchboro on Long Island.
From Frenchboro we went on to Burnt Coat Harbor at Swans Island for gas. The lighthouse at the head of the harbor, which is very well-protected anchorage.
Working waterfront on Swans Island ...."working" hereabouts means lobstering.
