1931 Buick, Half Moon Bay, and Duarte's.


 from Colin Washburn: "Back street in Half Moon Bay .... A "stock-rod". I could see a hot-rod valve cover through the engine compartment louvres. Never seen an orange on black Cali plate before. I think he painted it himself. This rig was cleeeeen !!"--CRW
More about the car here, and about the hood ornament. The current owner and restorer discovered the car asleep behind Duarte's, just down the coast in Pescadero.
