A whole new meaning for "Startup": the Fiat S76 firing up

Thanks to Dan Picasso for the heads-up re. Stefan Marjoram's piece in The Old Motor on the century-old Fiat S76 land-speed-record car getting fired up again. The link gets you to the video as well.
"When the engine finally burst into life the noise was spectacular--as were the flames (despite running a bit lean)..."

Not actually steampunk. But close.

  1. The vehicle is simply alarming. The noise and fury would make most weak at the knees.

Then climb into it and go 116 MPH...in 1910.
