Whenever we're in Santa Barbara County we're looking out for woodies. Like the
1936 Ford we caught in the lot at Loreto Plaza, on Upper State. Or the
1937 Ford and the
1932 Ford that both live on our peninsula in Maine. Our favorite this year was this 1940 Chevrolet. H & I had just had breakfast at
Esau's in Carpinteria on a foggy grey Sunday morning. We were walking to the beach when this machine rolled by, with a bunch of kids and surfboards aboard. Great to catch a woody in its natural environment. You see them every now and then here in Maine, but only in summah.
