Canadian Space

I like the Netherlands a lot. The cities are intriguing and lively, and the landscape is not a mess. The Dutch version of patriotism is exercised less in blowhard sentiment about their own innate uniqueness and wonderfulness, as God's chosen people; more in meticulous care of their actual Dutch ground. Most of which was claimed from the sea, with a good deal of effort. They seem to value every square centimeter.
However, I do miss the wilds and the mysteriousness of Canadian space. Which is why I'm posting a bunch of images of a trip from Horseshoe Bay (Vancouver) via Nanaimo (Vancouver Island) to Denman Island in November.
