From our man in south Saskatchewan: "Here are a few beasts that were lying in state behind the Mossbank hotel. It's like their owners went in to watch the Roughriders win, a couple of decades ago and forgot where they parked. The International is a fairly rare model ... I think they were prone to rust so you just don't see them around . Just north of town is Old Wives Lake, a large , shallow salty lake that is a big stopover/ feeding spot for countless migrating birds in the spring and fall . Feels very wild out there."--AE
"It's only fitting that I include a picture of The Mossbank Hotel, a magnificent destination resort, not unlike the Mazatlan "Sandals" except that there's no spa, rooms, or food, and the concierge is passed out behind the cigarette machine." Alex
