This looks to be a first-get Trooper, so 1984-86. Used to see many of these in California. They are rare these days, in Maine, anyway. This one looks very, very fresh–so, a restoration, or it's been in hiding for 40 years. See our post on the Mitsubishi Montero.

Something's happening down on Deer Isle. I wonder if this truck is being done by the same talented guys who produced the '53 Plymouth Suburban a while back? Same hardcore no-frills,  aesthetic, anyhow. More West Coast than Downeast.
