That was after dinner at Tinderhearth, way over there in Brooksville, on the other side of the peninsula. HBB caught a bellissima Alfa at the Rome Airport last spring. More Alfa links in that post.

1958 Morris Minor Estate

To my eye, Morrises of this era look like baby 1949-52 Chevrolets. Not the Estate so much, but the other models. This little knockout was on the road to Center Harbor, Maine. We posted this car as a work-in-progress some years back.

c. 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger, Denver

I I I From Markus Anstadt, in Denver: "I wonder if a car could be named a 'Swinger' today? This is definitely not the High Performance version."
AL: did you see our post, a while back, on the 1962 Dodge Dart (and the million-mile Montreal taxi?" And here's a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger that may indeed be the High Performance version.

1974 Citroën GS

A beautiful car and kinda unexpected in Sedgwick, Maine. Owner imported it from Switzerland. There is a pack of Citroëns over on Deer Isle. And a 2CV in Cambridge, Mass.

1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray

It was the last year of this bodystyle, which could not be improved upon, and wasn't. We posted this 1962 'vette convertible a while back.

1968 Dodge Charger, Maine

That body style, in the late 1960s, early 1970s was called a fastback. We have posted a 1967 Dodge Charger...even faster.

1956 Ford Victoria & 1956 Ford Crown Victoria

Caught the dynamic FoMoCo duo at a car show at the Eggemoggin Country Store in Sedgwick, Maine. We have posted a 1953 Ford Victoria Crestline, with Packard fins; and hood art on a 1990 Crown Vic; and an all-original 1954 Crown Victoria Crestline in Northern California.
