This from Don Green Culbertson, in Denton, Texas. I love Chevys of that vintage, especially my late great 1969 Brookwood wagon (below) which I sold in a moment of weakness (or maybe desperation) and would like to reclaim. Last seen in Ventura CA. If you ever hear tell of it, let me know.

"Matt Hummel is a Porsche collector and restorer. This 1956 356 Coupe is a rare breed in that world and he still drives it all across California often. He is a super chill dude in general so having him relaxing at this beach at Point Dume in Malibu was an obvious location. Sometimes the series get a little staged but if the subject and vehicle call for it, keeping it natural and simple can be best."

1953 Mercury M-350

The truck is for sale by Bison Brothers, in Alberta. These guys seeme to pulling old trucks out of farmyards on the prairies, cleaning them up a little and shipping them south as raw material. Hey speaking of the prairie provinces, have you heard Colter Wall? He knows how to play guitar, though I wish he'd lose the ugly hat. Maybe the Wrangler jacket too. No need to dress like a cowboy if you can sing like one. See Townes, e.g.

1962 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL

Perhaps wishful thinking, but I felt returning light for the first time yesterday afternoon, and last night had the first of my annual series of (anxiety) dreams re. launching SCOUT, our Cape Dory 25. The countdown has begun. In honor of the bold idea of summer, here's a Mercedes Benz 190 SL I  caught in Blue Hill, Maine a few years back. If you put SL into our search widget, up there to the right, you'll see a few more, of different eras. ("It was not until the beginning of 2017 that a chance finding in the corporate archive clarified that the that the abbreviation SL stood for Super-Leicht.")
