1964 Nissan Patrol and whisky blanc on Prince Edward Island

from Peter Baker, on Prince Edward Island:
"Photo taken on the day we got this going after over thirty years in the cellar under our dairy barn at the farm on P.E.I. It's a 1964 Nissan Patrol. Note the glass moonshine jugs found in back. These gallon jugs started life as vinegar bottles from the local general store and after the wife was done making pickles with the vinegar the bottles were filled with shine right from the still. The vinegar labels helped mislead teetotallers as to the actual content. Apparently 'shine is still being distilled on the island"--PB
